2020 In Review…

Updated: Jan 27, 2021

2020 was a year like no other and for most of us, probably happy to leave it behind. For Geoverse, despite the challenges and distractions of a pandemic and a national election, there were still many positive milestones and achievements to celebrate. From the Geoverse team and partners rolling out commercial CBRS deployments at new venues and new verticals, launching our national NaaS platform, bringing on new partners, launching our Voice Connect services, making first 5G calls on our GeoCore EPC, and winning an award from the OnGo Alliance for our NaaS solution – it was still a busy and notable year.

In addition, on the organizational front, Bob Gault joined us in November after successful tenures at Cisco and Extreme Networks, as our new Chief Commercial Officer to lead and build out the national sales, marketing, and partner teams and prepare us for an even more activity in 2021.

If you attended the Geoverse Partner Event in December, you heard Bob stress the importance of our partner community and our plans to build out a formal partner program to attract, train, and equip our partner base to identify and on-board private cellular opportunities to the benefit of both of us. There will be more activity and announcements around our partner program in Q1 as we put the finishing touches on the necessary details to help fully enable them for success. We are vested in our partners success and win only when they win. Stay tuned.

One of our more notable examples of great teamwork with our partners that was highlighted in the December partners meeting is the case study of the 7 Cedars Casino in Sequim, WA which has rolled out CBRS across its Casino and hotel resort for a number of back of the house internal use cases. Check out the video including commentary from several of the 7 Cedars staff on how the network is impacting their venue and the guest experience.
