Writer & Content Editor

Job Description:

Geoverse is a new kind of wireless company disrupting the status quo in cellular connectivity.  We provide the most cost-effective, no-compromise solution to indoor coverage challenges. Our solutions let enterprise and building owners deploy their own dedicated private LTE cellular network. Geoverse is changing the way we think about cellular and help to usher in a new era of connectivity.

We’re looking for a creative storyteller who will help craft and fine-tune key external communications – press releases, blogs, posts, presentations, letters, scripts… all the things to us communicate effectively with our prospects and help build our brand. You will focus on helping us create stories and material related to business announcements and strategy, presentations, correspondence, and thought leadership … to name a few.

The successful candidate will be a collaboration wizard who is comfortable balancing a huge variety of projects across a bunch of people and priorities - who can be strategic, tactical and is always creative  - and will be able to easily channel different voices for different projects/brands and audiences.

We’re looking for a brilliant storyteller – because we’ve got a killer story to tell – and is analytical enough to dig deep into the subject matter and understand the facts and stats behind the story.

Responsibilities:

Specifically, this role will be responsible for:

  • Drafting and editing communications materials with a variety of voices, focuses and audiences, including press releases, media alerts, blogs, social posts, op-eds, speeches, scripts, talking points, long-form narratives and other PR and external communications materials

  • Ability to translate wireless tech mumbo-jumbo into a coherent value proposition for a non-technical audience

  • Helping to take the Geoverse brand voice and adapting it to serve the needs of various focuses and audiences

  • Provide sound communications counsel and advice to various partners across the team

  • Bringing new and creative themes, storylines and tools to the table

  • Jump in on projects or events where the team needs additional support without needing weeks to get up to speed

Qualifications:

While the quality and accomplishments of a person’s career will be the determining factor, the finalist must have the following requisite qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ experience with deep writing experience for both printed and spoken word.

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills.

  • Demonstrated collaboration skills with a history of anticipating issues and taking proactive action to develop and implement an appropriate response plan.

  • Strong comms understanding of differences and uses of media across various audiences (earned, owned, paid).

  • Proficient using MS Office

  • Bachelor’s degree is required

  • Experience publishing in CMS/blog environment

  • Understanding of consumer technology and wireless technologies (or a very fast learner!)

Vice President, Sales Engineering

Job Description:

Geoverse is changing the way we think about cellular and help to usher in a new era of connectivity.

We are looking for a seasoned Vice President of Sales Engineering. An exceptional, technically adept go-getter whom will lead the Enterprise Sales Engineering team, support the sales and channel partner teams, and help develop and close new revenue opportunities.

The successful candidate will be a collaboration wizard who is comfortable balancing a huge variety of projects across a bunch of people and priorities - who can be listen, analyze and is always creative  - and will be able to easily assure we are providing our prospects with an optimal solution for their needs.

Responsibilities:

Specifically, this role will be responsible for:

  • Hire, Manage, and Scale a team of pre-sales engineers focused on selling within large enterprises

  • Develop enablement processes and content in support of rapid onboarding of pre-sales engineers

  • Implement strategies to improve trial win rates, beat the competition, and develop stronger technical buyer relationships

  • Work in conjunction with the sales team as a key technical advisor and advocate for the Geoverse platform while mapping value to the prospect's needs

  • Develop engaging demonstrations in collaboration with our Sales, Marketing, and Training Teams to both business and technical users

  • Understand and implement technical sales strategies based on competitive selling, from middleprise to larger enterprises, e.g. Fortune 500.

  • Partner with Product Management to effectively represent strategic requirements for large enterprise prospects.

  • Partner with Marketing on effective strategies to manage and deliver demonstrations, maintain demo environments, and respond to RFPs.

  • Present to prospects, customers and partners, at external events, conferences, seminars, etc.

  • Work in concert with Senior Vice President of Sales to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales revenue targets (Be a leader and a closer)

  • Develop sales plan and target Commercial Real Estate verticals (e.g MDUs, Hospitality, Healthcare, Enterprise and ‘carpeted offices, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing) to meet or exceed sales revenue targets

  • Schedule and attend sales meetings to present Geoverse’s value proposition and identify new opportunities

  • Provide competitive proposals, highlighting Geoverse’s value proposition of ‘simple and best” to our prospects

  • Develop strong relationships with decision-makers/influencers with each opportunity

  • Maintain account information in Geoverse’s CRM system

  • Drive opportunities with internal customers (program management, Implementation, RF Design and Professional Services) to deliver proposals and close deals with external customers

  • A deep understanding of in-building small cell architecture and operations, CBRS and LTE eco-systems, and prominent solutions within them

  • The ability to take complex pieces of technology and explain them in a simple and easy to understand way.

  • Solid verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Intellectual curiosity, great problem-solving skills and passion for continuous improvement.

  • Previous experience working with/presenting to executive level prospects and customers.

  • Experience with modern technical selling best practices and selling in a competitive environment, including implementing new or improved trial, demo, and RFP process.

  • Current and demonstrable experience with Face to Face consultative selling

Preferred (but Not Required)

  • 5-10 years within CRE industry. Experience selling to commercial real estate owners/managers and/or enterprise

  • 5 plus yrs. of successful experience working with/integrating with Communication Service Providers (CSPs) and Real Estate Customers.

  • Thorough understanding of competitive landscape with CSPs and Real Estate Owners (Verticals to include, MDUs, Commercial office, Logistics, Healthcare, Hospitality, Sports and Entertainment, etc.)

  • Strong data analysis skills and the ability /navigate spreadsheets to identify trends, outliers, correlations and reconciliation needs across large data sets.

  • Good practical understanding of cellular and cloud-centric architectures.

  • Comfort level working in a metric-driven environment, including reporting on and improving business performance against a set of monthly KPIs and metrics.
